Medical Data Systems - NIS 5 - Technical Specifications and Requirements

The NIS 5 is a Microsoft Windows based application, utilizing Microsoft SQL as the back-end database. The system has the following requirements:

SQL Application: SQL Server 2000®	SQL Application: SQL Server 2000®
Operating System: Microsoft Windows NT® Server 4.0, Service Pack 5 (SP 5) or later must be installed as a minimum requirement for all SQL Server editions.	Operating System: Windows 2003 Server
Processor: Intel® or compatible. Pentium 166 MHz (or higher), Pentium PRO. Pentium III or the minimum processor required for your operating system (varies for SQL Server editions).	Processor: 2.8 GHz (or higher)
Memory: 128 MB minimum	Memory: 1 GB (or higher)
Hard Drive Space: 1 GB	Hard Drive Space: 30 GB (or higher)

Workstation Requirements
Requirements: Windows 2000 Workstation or Server, Windows XP Professional; or Windows 2003 Server.	Requirements: Windows XP Professional
Memory: 256 MB minimum	Memory: 500 MB minimum
Hard Drive Space: 50 MB free space	Hard Drive Space: 50 MB free space

All client workstations must have permission to access the machine that has SQL Server 2000 installed.
